Monday, August 13 2018, the Facutly of Environmental Sciences and Natural Resource Management (MINA) warmly welcomes all our new students! :)

Program

The program for all new students in master's in ECOLOGY looks like this:

Introduction to the faculty and study program
- Welcome
- Presentation of your study advisor
- Presentation of the department and its activities (research, etc)
- Class meeting and presentation of the study program. Topics covered:
    - Program contents
    - The master's thesis (topics, funding, etc)
    - Social trip for the ecology students
- Meet your buddies

10.30-11.30Lunch
The student buddies
take their "sponsor kids" for lunch.
Bring a packed lunch or money to buy food in one of NMBU's cafeterias.
11.30-13.30Seminars
Parallell sessions: lectures on the faculty's research activities. All are in the building Sørhellinga (building nr. 40 on the map)

Barbeque for staff and 
new students outside Sørhellinga.
